Payton Reiter, MD is board certified in Family Medicine. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Neurobiology and earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She helps patients live life to the fullest and add quality to their years (improving health span). She focuses on wellness of mind and body and has additional knowledge in integrative medicine through the University of Arizona. Her other professional interests include sports medicine, regenerative medicine, weight management, age management, hormone replacement therapy, aesthetics, LGBTQ+ health and mental health.

Compounded tirzepatide
Tirzepatide, on your doctor's prescription.
Tirzepatide is a once-weekly treatment that activates two gut-hormone receptors, GIP and GLP-1, at the same time. Dr. Reiter evaluates whether it is appropriate for you. If it is, your doctor writes a patient-specific prescription, and a licensed pharmacy prepares and dispenses it under section 503A.
Your dose is set by your doctor from your health history, your weight, and what you have already tried, not from a fixed ladder that everyone walks at the same pace. If you have taken a GLP-1 before, you start where you are.
