How RonanRx works
Six steps from doctor referral to refill.
Doctor-led, pharmacist-released, patient-specific. Each step has a defined owner. The doctor remains the prescribing authority throughout.
The workflow
The full six steps.
- 01
Doctor referral or prescription
Your doctor sends a patient-specific prescription to RonanRx. The relationship stays with the prescribing clinician. Patient choice is preserved — patients can route the prescription elsewhere if they prefer.
- 02
Intake and profile construction
The patient completes a structured intake. Identity, history, and program-specific context are captured so the pharmacist can review safely. RonanRx never substitutes for a doctor's evaluation.
- 03
Records and labs when needed
If the program calls for records or specific lab values, RonanRx coordinates collection. If it doesn't, we don't ask. Lab work is informed by the program, not used as a paywall.
- 04
Doctor approval
The doctor reviews the prepared chart and approves the prescription. Nothing compounds before the doctor signs off. The doctor remains the prescribing authority.
- 05
Pharmacist review, preparation, release
A licensed pharmacist verifies the prescription, the chart, and the formulation. Compounding and release happen under USP-aligned controls. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are prepared per patient-specific prescription.
- 06
Shipping, support, refill continuity
Temperature-aware shipping when the medication requires it. Pharmacist-accessible support. Refills coordinated with the prescribing doctor on the program's cadence.
