Provider FAQ
For doctors and clinic operators.
Common questions from clinics evaluating RonanRx. If yours isn't here, request a partnership call and we'll answer directly.
Do you take over the patient relationship?
No. The doctor remains the prescribing authority. The patient relationship stays with the prescribing clinician. RonanRx operates the workflow underneath.
How do doctors prescribe?
Patient-specific prescriptions sent to RonanRx through a method we set up with your clinic during onboarding. We accept signed PDFs, integrated EHR routing where supported, and other state-compliant methods.
How are fees handled?
Professional service fees and pharmacy/shipping fees are separated and itemized for the patient. The doctor sets and earns the professional service fee. RonanRx charges separately for compounding, dispensing, and shipping. RonanRx does not pay referral fees and does not share drug margin with physicians. Read more →
How do refills work?
Refills are coordinated with the prescribing doctor on the program's cadence. Refill prompts and follow-up signals surface in the doctor workspace; the doctor decides whether to refill, modify, or stop.
Can patients use another pharmacy?
Yes. Patient choice is preserved. The doctor can route a prescription to a different pharmacy at any time.
What states are supported?
Availability depends on state licensure, prescribed medication, dosage form, shipping constraints, and applicable law. RonanRx is not currently available in Arkansas or California. Confirm coverage for a specific prescription before relying on it. State availability →
What does RonanRx handle operationally?
Intake, records and labs coordination when applicable, prescription handoff, pharmacist review, compounding, release, shipping (including cold-chain), refill prompts, and patient support routed appropriately to the pharmacist or to your clinic. Platform →
Can we white-label the patient experience?
Yes. Partner clinics can offer a white-label patient flow. Discuss specifics during onboarding.
What happens if a shipment is delayed?
We hold or reroute and notify the patient and the prescribing doctor. If urgent, we coordinate a faster path or transfer the prescription to a closer pharmacy. Shipping →
