CJC-1295

Long-acting GHRH analog under FDA review.

What it does

What CJC-1295 is and why doctors prescribe it.

CJC-1295 is a synthetic GHRH analog with modifications that extend its half-life substantially compared to sermorelin. Research interest centers on growth-hormone axis support. Under FDA review for 503A-permissible status.

How it works

Mechanism in plain English.

CJC-1295 binds GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotrophs to stimulate GH release, like sermorelin. Modifications (typically a drug affinity complex with serum albumin via DAC) extend half-life from minutes (native GHRH) to days (CJC-1295 with DAC), supporting less frequent dosing.

How long it's been studied

Research history.

CJC-1295 was developed in the 2000s. Phase 1 and 2 trials examined its pharmacokinetics and effects on GH/IGF-1 axis. Cannot currently be compounded under 503A.

Dosing

Clinical context for the prescribing doctor.

Pending regulatory clarity. RonanRx cannot compound CJC-1295 until it receives 503A-permissible status.

This page is informational, not a dispensing aid. CJC-1295 is dispensed only on a patient-specific prescription written by a licensed doctor for an identified patient. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and should not be evaluated using branded-drug trial data. Availability varies by state and prescribed medication.
